ARES TOKGOZ

My name is Ares Tokgoz, I was born in 2012, and I have been playing basketball passionately for the past 5 years. I’m currently 177 cm tall, weigh 58 kg, and play as a guard, where I take pride in leading my team on the court and creating opportunities both offensively and defensively.

I started my basketball journey at the age of 7 with Petna Sports Club, where I won many trophies and awards until my U12 season. At the end of age 11, I took the next step in my development by joining TED Sports Club, where I continue to grow as a player.

Last season, playing with TED Sports Club, we achieved 2nd place in Istanbul in the official TBF League and 3rd place in Istanbul in the Development League. At the end of 2024, we competed in the EYBL tournament held in Istanbul, where our team finished 1st, and I was honored to receive the MVP award.

Basketball is more than just a sport to me — it’s about discipline, teamwork, and determination. My goal is to improve every day, take responsibility on the court, and contribute to my team’s success while becoming the best version of myself.

I’m excited for the journey ahead and the challenges that will help me reach new heights in basketball.
